Restaurant and Guest House at the foot of Monte Nerone

ong ago this farmhouse, and its 45 acres of farmland that surrounds it, was owned by the Borghi family. It was passed as dowry to the Mochi family of Pian delle Ville, when the daughter, Maria Borghi, married Carlo Mochi in1928. It was named Val Pietro after his father, Pietro Mochi.
Several families have managed the farm and all have contributed to the current agricultural activity of the Mochis. In 2003 the farmhouse was transformed into today’s “locanda” (inn), where the history and memories of these families live on.
Today the Locanda Val Pietro offers excellent hospitality:
on the ground floor are the welcoming lounge and the three dining rooms, where you can taste the best of our delicious local cuisine,
and on the first floor are 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, plus a family suite comprising 2 bedrooms with a bathroom.

The restaurant will surprise you

Maria and Peppe’s dishes can never be taken for granted. You will be surprised by the quality and use of their ingredients. Naturally, traditional dishes are served, but there are also alternative unusual dishes which you are invited to try.
For us at the Locanda Val Pietro, sourcing ingredients with zero miles (even zero yards) and careful preparation of our exclusive recipes are fundamental to our providing a unique dining experience. You will have no regrets!
